Playful Puppets

I am new to the world of work-at-home-mom, but I'm very excited to share some of my crafts with you.

When I was a kid I had a friend that had a puppet show theater in her house.  I loved it!  We would play with the puppets for hours.  I remember thinking to myself, "When I'm a mom I'm going to make puppets for my kids to play with."

Now here I am, quite a few years later, a mom and keeping that promise.  This week I made five "Playful Puppets" for my girls.

First I needed practice putting the head together.  I used materials I had at home and made my first puppet my daughter lovingly named Bob.

This is Bob.

After practicing on Bob I made five puppets I refer to as "Fairytale Friends."

First, we have Prince Rich.

Next comes Wizard Zeke,

 Mr. Hoppity,

 Princess Rosie,

And finally, Witch Matilda.

There they are.  My daughter LOVES them, and I love that when I ask her to do chores with a puppet she will do it without argument!

Check out my Etsy shop, Krazy 4 Krafting.

Thanks!
